The US troop fund baked for soldiers on Saturday. They're hoping the sale will bring more support for the troops. It took place at the Army Navy Store in Whitefish. Most volunteers say they know just how it feels to have family members serving. The group stressed soldiers still have many needs overseas and could still use a boost from home."While my son was in Iraq, they explained that they do not shower regularly because there are no showers. They not have electricity or internet. This is just a little way to give them comfort from home and let them know we still care," comment Bonnie Leahy who helps organize the event. All proceeds from their third annual sale go towards wounded soldiers recovering at the Navy League San Diego.
