Thousands flooded the gates at the Northwest Montana Fair on Saturday. People packed in to watch the rodeo and pig races. One of the most anticipated fair events also kicked off Saturday. It's the Indian Relay Races. In it, each rider has three horses and must jump between the three during the race.

Leo Bullshoe placed first in Saturday's relay race. "Everybody packs the stands to watch it. It's a really good sport and a really good competition," he said as he started looking toward preparations for Sunday's races.
