The 22-year-old told officers she was walking home from the downtown area, around South 5th Street East and Hilda Avenue. That's just southwest of the Madison Street Bridge.

She says she was talking on her phone, when a man grabbed her and pulled her to the ground. She kicked him hard in the chest, and he ran away.

The suspect is described as a white man, stocky, between 5'8" and 5'10". The victim says he was wearing a green bandanna over his face, and a sweatshirt with the hood pulled up.
