WHO: The Boxcutters album release party WHERE: Sean Kelly?s WHEN: Sat., May 12, at 9 PM HOW MUCH: Free WHY: Missoula?s two-man band The Boxcutters got their start at Sean Kelly?s open mic. Last year, they won KBGA college radio?s battle of the bands, which aired for a suspenseful two months before the winner was announced. Their new album The Evil in Young Men will be released this week at show with openers Airstream Safari. The Boxcutters style is a little bit Black Keys and a little bit White Stripes?an ambitious soulful album with plenty of good storytelling to match.
