MISSOULA, Mont. -

Senator Jon Tester took a break from the campaign trail Saturday to pay a visit to a unique Missoula non-profit called Home ReSource.

It specializes in deconstructing houses and dealing the used building materials.

Directors say since 2003, the non-profit's found a home for more than 10 million pounds of waste that would have otherwise ended up in a land fill, and it employs 20 people.

"It's impressive, whether you're talking about sinks or bathtubs or doors or dimension lumber or whatever it may be,? said Tester. I think it provides an incredible service, and really is a winner all the way around."

Home ReSource also teaches more than two-dozen different home improvement classes at their in-house work shop. For more information, click here.
