MISSOULA, Mont. -

Both Butte and Bozeman are poised to shatter record high temperatures on Monday! The old records are 75° in Butte and 80° in Bozeman. I fully expect both numbers to be eclipsed.

Missoula and Kalispell probably won't be breaking record high temperatures on Monday, but we'll be getting awfully close!

Once again we start off with blue skies before turning partly cloudy during the afternoon. A couple of thunderstorms may start to spark late in the day. The activity should be isolated and brief in nature. Highs end up at least 20 degrees above average.

The unusual warmth sticks around into the middle of the work week. I don't anticipate much of a cooldown until Friday when widespread rains return.
