MISSOULA, Mont. -

Despite a lot of cloud cover, skies look to remain dry tonight. We'll keep it mostly cloudy in Missoula and Kalispell with partly starry skies in Butte and Bozeman. Flowers and sensitive plants shouldn't be in too much trouble with temperatures staying above the freezing mark.

Almost everybody is in for a free lawn watering on Monday. The month of April ends with soggy conditions. The heaviest rainfall is set to drop west of the continental divide. A rumble of thunder can't be ruled out late in the day over southwestern Montana. Thermometers for most will be staying cooler than normal.

The month of May kicks of with some plain old cold conditions. High temperatures should struggle to get out of the 40s. A few more showers are set to pop up before a brief lull in the wet weather arrives for the peak of the work week.
