MISSOULA, Mont. -

A rollover after a high speed chase near Rapid City, South Dakota, may have solved a string of burglaries in Missoula's Target Range area. South Dakota troopers report Stephen McCann of Missoula was driving a white 2006 Toyota Highlander.

They say he led officers on a chase topping 105 miles an hour, before rolling the stolen vehicle two times north of Rapid City.

Deputies said a juvenile passenger from Missoula is also in custody. Troopers said evidence from a number of burglaries in Missoula two days ago was recovered, including a loaded .45 caliber handgun.

"We're in the process of getting the victims' stolen property from the vehicle," said Detective Sergeant T.J. McDermott, of the Missoula County Sheriff's Department. "Hopefully, said the detective, "we'll return some of this property to these victims next week."

McDermott said it's a reminder that people should lock their doors, and take their valuables out of their car, even if the vehicle is in a garage.
