Our skies are set to go quiet tonight. The showers and storms have tapered off. Look for partly cloudy skies overhead with lows cooling into the low to mid 40s by 6am on Sunday.
The second half of the weekend holds a couple of light rain showers, but it is only for a select few. Rain chances are highest over southwest Montana, but even there it isn't a sure bet. Skies should stay dry all day long from Missoula to the north and west. High temperatures end up near normal with a bit of an afternoon breeze.
The next work week appears to start off on a warm note. As more heat gets added to the atmosphere, it will become very unstable. Strong thunderstorms are possible Monday afternoon and evening with the potential to produce small hail and gusty winds. It will definitely be a time frame to keep a close eye on.
