MISSOULA, Mont. -

Here's a big digital hug to all the moms out there. Happy Mother's Day! You'll probably smile when you hear that the weather for your day is going to be magnificent!

Sunday is shaping up to be another day filled with sunshine and mild temperatures. Winds look light all day long with thermometers set to go 10 to 15 degrees above average by mid May standards.

The work week begins with our weather pattern staying in snooze mode. Monday and Tuesday could see near record heat spike into the area. Low storm chances sprinkle the mid week forecast, but most of that activity will be few and far between. The next real shot for widespread rains doesn't return until Friday.
