The pertussis outbreak in Ravalli County keeps growing. The state health department has confirmed four new whooping cough cases.
Thirty-three people have now tested positive in the Bitterroot for the disease. Public health director Judy Griffin said of the four new cases, one is an adult, and three are children.
The health director said there could be more cases confirmed on Monday. But she said the child who was hospitalized for pertussis a couple weeks ago is home now and doing okay.
