The power went out on a stretch of Reserve Street early Sunday afternoon, including the light at Mullan and Reserve. A police officer directed traffic at that intersection.
Some movie showings at Carmike Cinema were cancelled, after the theater lost power at about 12:30 p.m. A Carmike representative says area power was back on by about 2 p.m.
No word yet on what caused the outage.
