Two times in one day. Missoula police busted a mom for two DUI?s on Saturday. But what was most troubling to police and the judge, she had her four-year-old in the back seat.
Prosecutors say Anna Kristen Lokowich was first cited for driving under the influence after she drove through a fence at the Montana Rail Link rail yard around 10 in the morning, with her four year old child in the back seat.
She bonded out immediately on that charge but was picked up again, later Saturday around 5 pm and cited for another DUI.
?During the first incident, resulting in the criminal endangerment charge, she had a four-year-old in the car,? said Deputy County Attorney Patricia Bower. ?She is an extreme danger to the community and to her kids at this time, so I would ask for a no contact order with her children as well,? she said.
Judge Karen Orzech agreed with Bower?s request and told Lokowich she can?t see her kids. She?s also wearing a court ordered alcohol monitoring bracelet, and remains out of jail on bond.
