MSU is helping to raise awareness and educate people about locally grown food in Montana.
The sixth annual Local Food Fair and Symposium is meant to connect buyers, producers, sellers and consumers, according to coordinators.
The event brings together more than 50 local food producers, processors and ally organizations from across the state.
Organizers say they hope to provide attendees with an opportunity to learn about Montana-grown food, network and ask questions.
"It's really important to consider our food system as a community-wide food system. It's not about just you and me or MSU or the meat producer down the road. It's about the connections and the system, the whole system," says MSU Montana Made Program's Anna Diffenderfer.
