BUTTE, Mont. -

Butte's Headframe Spirits will celebrate its grand opening Friday night in the mining city.

Governor Schweitzer will be on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:30 p.m.

The Small Business Administration will present the owners with a check for $444,000.

The check represents the money used to start the business through an SBA loan. It was funded by Big Sky Economic Development and Stockman Bank.

Owners said they have been looking forward to the grand opening for some time.

"The celebration of two years of really hard work on our part, on the part of our bankers, our financiers, on the parts of our friends and family who have helped us get this far, it's just very exciting," Owner Courtney McKee said.

Dublin Gulch will be performing live during the festivities.

The McKee?s will have catered food and of course spirits and cocktails.

After the ribbon cutting the rest of the celebration will continue from 5 to 8 p.m.
