Landon Stolar joined NBC Montana as the Sports Director at KTVM in September 2010. Raised in East Brunswick, NJ, Landon graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in broadcast journalism.

Before coming to KTVM, Landon worked as the Syracuse University sports correspondent for Palestra.net, an online-based media company covering college news and athletics across the country. Landon reported at each home SU football, basketball and lacrosse game. Several of his stories aired on ESPN U and were posted to ESPN.com.

While in college, Landon spent most of his free time working for the campus television station, CitrusTV. In addition to being on air, Landon worked as the associate producer for 'Cuse Countdown, the pre-game show for all SU football, basketball and lacrosse games. Led by Landon and his fellow producers, 'Cuse Countdown was nominated for a 2010 College Emmy Award under the category of Best News Show.

When he's not covering the Cats or working on a story, Landon likes to spend his free time playing the guitar and watching anime. A zealot when it comes to all Syracuse sports, Landon is also a life-long Dallas Cowboys and New York Mets fan.

Landon has done everything from anchoring to reporting, from play-by-play to producing. He is thrilled to be doing what he loves now in Bozeman everyday and he is excited to learn about a few sports he hasn't had the pleasure of covering on the east coast.
