KALISPELL, Mont. -

Like clockwork, warmer wather means road construction, and in the Flathead it's causing problems for drivers and businesses alike.

Roadwork continued Monday morning on Highway 2 between 1st Avenue West and Meridian Road. Drivers cannot turn left into any of the businesses on that stretch of road. One store owner is really worried about his business because the construction has blocked his main entrance.

"Yeah, I'm pretty concerned about it," said Subway owner Steven Thuy, "Hopefully they told me if the weather is nicer they're able to get more done so hopefully it can get done as quick as possible if it stays nice. Just hoping for the fastest way out of it if possible."

State workers think they'll reopen some lanes in mid-May. Until then, they suggest drivers find alternate routes.
