KALISPELL, Mont. -

A Kalispell man accused of trying to hit three people with his car in the parking lot of a local bar pled not guilty in a Flathead court on Thursday. Witnesses told investigators Zachariha Dawson got into his car and sped at three people after a girl in the group rejected his sexual advances.

Court documents state the alleged victims were able to dive out of the way, but Dawson then drove off, and allegedly slammed into a car at a nearby intersection. Officers caught Dawson, and brought him to Kalispell Regional Medical Center, where he allegedly tried to bite a nurse.

Dawson has been charged with felony assault with a weapon, and two felony counts of criminal endangerment. If he?s convicted, he faces up to 40 years in prison.
