MISSOULA, Mont. -

Seniors from Missoula?s Hellgate High School spent the day volunteering in the Missoula community.

They split up into two different groups, one helped build trails at Pattee Canyon, the other group cleaned up the pools and park at Splash Montana.

Hellgate students said they?re the only high school in the district to hold a ?Senior Service Day.? They said it's a good way to give back to the city as they wrap up their time in the Missoula County Public Schools.

?It's the end of high school, just giving back to the community that's why we're here,? said Adriel Stokes.

?It'll bring a lot of smiles to kids' faces. Just to see you know it's clean and they get to come out here all summer long and have fun,? said Justena Joubert.
