KALISPELL, Mont. -

A Flathead High student has boxed his way to a national championship that kicks off on Monday. Tevin Groshelle has been boxing on and off over the last three years, and after doing well in state and regional championships, he?s fighting for the National Golden Gloves title in Mesquite, Nevada.

The event is expected to bring about 300 of the best amateur boxers from around the country for the fights.

?I?m looking forward to just going down there and fighting, and seeing what it?s all about? said Groshelle. ?The experience of it all, I think, that will be a lot of fun.?

If Groshelle does well at the tournament, he?ll be crowned one of the United States? top amateur boxers
