A Pacific storm system will move through Montana tonight and Wednesday. It will bring scattered showers and thundershowers to the region. Gusty west winds will develop Wednesday as a weak front passes through the northern Rockies. Outside of the showers, skies will be partly to mostly cloudy. Highs will drop back to the 60s Wednesday. Most areas will see a trace up to a quarter of an inch of rain, including Butte and Bozeman. However, heavier rain is expected across northwest Montana. A quarter to a half inch is possible from Missoula north to Kalispell with up to an inch around Libby in far northwest Montana.
