High pressure will dominate our weather through early Wednesday. We expect clear skies tonight with chilly lows in the lower 30s. Partly to mostly sunny and warmer Tuesday with highs in the mid 60s to lower 70s. Wednesday will be another warm day with highs in the 70s. Clouds will increase in advance of a cold front that will enter far western Montana late in the day. There will be a chance of afternoon showers and storms from Missoula north to Kalispell, with a slight chance around Butte and Bozeman.

The cold front will usher cooler air into the region Thursday through the weekend. A chance of showers each day, with the best chance of widespread rain across northwest Montana around Kalispell. In fact, that area may receive up to .75 inches of rain in the valleys with up to 1.5 inches in the mountains.
