A few isolated showers and thunderstorms have been popping up this morning and we will see a few more develop this afternoon. The main threat with today's thunderstorms will be the threat of gusty winds and brief moderate rainfall. All in all, it will be another warm day with highs in the mid to low 80s areawide! The warmth and shower chances will stick around this week, but a drop in temperatures is expected by Friday with highs in the 50s for the weekend!
