A storm system will sit over western Montana this weekend, bringing unsettled, cool and breezy weather to the region. So, it won't be an ideal weekend. However, there will be plenty of time between showers to get outside. Scattered showers and isolated thundershowers are expected with highs dropping to the 50s both days and lows in the 30s to around 40. Snow will fall at many pass location along with West Yellowstone. In fact, even Butte may experience a rain and snow mix. Between showers you might even see some sunshine from time to time. Warmer weather is expected with partly sunny skies Monday and Tuesday of next week with another chance of rain by mid week.
