MISSOULA, Mont. -

A group of Missoulians rallied outside the post office Tuesday, to inform the community of how their tax dollars are spent.

Missoula Women for Peace organized the event. They held signs and chanted at the post office, and thanked people for paying their taxes. They also reminded people where their tax dollars go?they chanted about food stamps, veteran?s services, roadways, and education. They also asked for a stop to war, and for the ?1%? to pay their fair share of taxes.

?We hope they'll see the signs. We'd like to give them information about where their tax dollars go, but not all of them will take the information, some honk and wave, others ignore us,? said Florence Chessin from Missoula Women for Peace.
