Helena attorney Pam Bucy has taken the Democratic nomination for Montana attorney general after former state lawmaker Jesse Laslovich conceded Wednesday.
She faces Republican Tim Fox in November.
Only about 900 votes separated the two candidates with some ballots still outstanding Wednesday morning.
Bucy says that in the general election campaign she will continue to emphasize her experience in the attorney general's office, where she prosecuted criminal cases and argued before the state Supreme Court.
