BOZEMAN, Mont. -

The fifth annual Bozeman Schools Foundation adult spelling bee took place at The Ellen Theatre over the weekend.

Teams of three pay to participate. Staying true to its inception, there were a number of elaborate and fun costumes.

Chrysti The Wordsmith read the words to contestants, and attendees donated money to the foundation.

It's estimated the event raised about $30,000. Zoot and Yellowdog Fly Fishing were this year's major sponsors.
