The following is a news release from the Bozeman Police Department.

Two nights ago, a male entered a store on North 7th Avenue. He went into the lingerie section and asked a female customer to try on some women?s lingerie so he knew how it would look. The female refused, so the male went into one of the changing rooms and tried it on himself. He tried to convince the female to come inside the changing room and look at him, but she refused to do so.

The male, back in his original clothes, eventually followed the female around the store until she reported him to a store employee. The store called the police department 45 minutes after this happened, so needless to say, the male was long gone by the time officers arrived.

The Bozeman Police Department asks our business owners and their employees to be attentive of customers who act suspicious or do strange things. Although this male may not have necessarily committed a crime, his behavior certainly rises to the level of being a bit ?creepy?.

Please call the police department immediately if your customers or employees feel uncomfortable with a customer or situation. Always trust your gut instinct!
