Bigfork High School students are asking Flathead residents to support their video! Students in Mike Roberts' multimedia classes partnered up with Kalispell's Valley Ford in the "Drive 1 For UR School" contest.
Bigfork is the only Montana high school in the running for a $10,000 prize. Their video demonstrates what the Bigfork booster club and students would do with the money if they win. They've posted their video to YouTube and added their entry to the "Drive 1" Facebook page, where schools are voted on during daily rounds. Bigfork has made it to the second round so far, beating a school from Florida.
Students tell us the community has been the backbone of support with this project.
"I've been most impressed by the community involvement," said senior Halisia Hubbard, "I had no idea how strong our community really was until this year, seeing how they've gotten involved. So I was really impressed just going online and seeing all these people asking us to vote and it was exciting."
