Missoula High Schoolers attended a sobering assembly on drunk driving Friday.
The first drunk driver convicted of vehicular homicide in Montana, along with the victim's of several other drunk driving accidents, told their stories to more than 300 students at Big Sky High School.
The teens also watched a moving video about drunk driving produced by a fellow student for her senior project.
The mother of a teenager killed in a drunk driving car accident last year told the audience they have a choice.
"Please, if you guys take anything away from this, think about how easy it is to make the wrong decision, and how many people are going to be affected by that wrong decision," said the victim?s mother.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, last year alcohol was a factor in 144 accidents. That's down from 175 in 2010, and 296 in 2006.
