A Belgrade woman pleaded not guilty in court Wednesday to a felony charge that she embezzled from the Belgrade School District.
Prosecutors claim Della Little opened a credit card in her own name, but on a Belgrade School District account.
At the time, Little was an employee at the school district.
According to police reports, she allegedly used the card to make several cash advance withdrawals from ATMs.
Police said this went on for nearly a year-and-a-half. The cash advances, plus additional purchases and fees totaled $48,848.61.
If convicted, Little faces up to 10-years in prison and as much as a $50,000 fine, in addition to possible restitution.
