Technology opens doors to information and universal connections unimaginable just a few years ago. But instant, global high technolgy comes at a price.

Our cell phones, social media, and internet surfing open doors to our private lives.

ACLU national legislative counsel Chris Calabrese will speak Wednesday evening on ways our privacy is threatened in the digital era.

"That's the progress of civilization," said ACLU Montana executive director, Scott Crichton, "We just also want people to be aware of the measures they can take to protect their privacy as much as possible."

Privacy in the Digital Age begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the University of Montana Law School, Room 101.
